The role:

Looking for an Oribe Obsessed sales leader to drive the Prestige Retail Channel strategy in the US.

The Senior Sales Manager, Prestige Retail reports into the Director, Prestige Retail & E-Commerce, Americas. This role manages buying office relationships, drives the commercial strategy and annual sales targets for all retail partners in the US. The majority of the role will be driven by Oribe Haircare, and they will also drive white space growth for all Kao Salon Brands (Kerasilk and KMS).

They will directly manage the buying office relationships, designing and implementing the annual Joint Business Plans to ensure consistency in execution across the region for all Kao Salon Brands.

What you will do:

  • Lead the development, delivery and implementation of the Regional Prestige Retail go-to-market strategy to deliver annual Invoiced Sales and Business Profits.
  • Partner with other members of the Delivery Team and the respective Functional teams to build brand continuity and generate the most cohesive retail strategy possible.
  • Develop and drive long-term channel strategy; leveraging white space opportunities within region and design and deliver business proposals that clearly define the opportunity and improve the go-to-market execution to meet growth benchmarks.
  • Plan, budget, forecast and oversee the required delivery needs in order to build multi-million-dollar programming and sampling programs tied to the annual Joint Business Plans, including managing the associated expense budgets either directly or by assigning to the respective field management teams
  • Identify key areas of growth opportunities for direct reports to influence career growth and development through in market travel rotation

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant sales and leadership experience
  • Luxury retail experience preferred (including but not limited to Sephora)
  • Experience Managing people/ multi-functional teams preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
