Senior Cash & Treasury Specialist

The role

As an agile and independent part of the Cash and Banking-team, the role is to act as the primary bridge between cash  management and Treasury operations. The specialist will support on EMEA liquidity management, mitigate FX risks, manage cash balances, monitor bank fees and support with bank communication, AML and KYC requests. They will perform cash allocation operations, guarantees, manage direct debit and outgoing payment. They are innovative and agile with implementing new payment solutions, cash allocation automation and improvement of processes. The specialist will be in communication with several departments and stakeholders and support with cash management and treasury related projects, such as onboarding to ISO20022, CAMT53 formats

What You Will Do

• Execute EMEA regional liquidity management, manage cash balances with treasury, review financial investments and mitigate FX and financial risks
• Communicate with global bank partners, support with AML and KYC requests, monitor bank charges
• Carry out daily cash allocation, balance reconciliations, automation requests, monitor cash management and manual payout -inboxes
• Monitor incoming/outgoing payments and direct debit processing
• Support with Cash & Banking and Treasury -related projects
• Support with reporting for both Cash & Banking and Treasury (KPI reporting, FX derivative and EMIR audit related reporting)
• Ensure smooth daily processes and communication for both Treasury and Cash & Banking teams

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in finance or comparable (postgraduate) university study.
• Fluency in written and spoken German as well as English language
• Strong skills on cash management operations: experience in cash allocation, monitoring incoming and outgoing payments, developing automation.
• Previous work experience at a corporate Treasury department considered a plus.
• Expertise on different banking web platforms (such as CitiPulse) and third party payment solution providers. 
• Strong skills in Excel, SAP ERP, SAP S4HANA, Kyriba, Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and capability for independent action.
• Strong communication skills both in German and English.
• Flexibility to travel between Germany and the Netherlands when required (especially during the training period of first months).
• Already in possession of permanent work permit.
